yes, and sometimes along with counseling. i prefer someone at my church along with the Bible, they can usually help to find a scripture that can help me along when i, myself cannot find it.

Yes and No.
You must realize that what is on the shelf today no longer contains what originally was put in it.
Even the OLD King James'Version' has many errors.
The one thing that Er-ks me the most is the removal of God's name. God is a title, as is Lord. Another thing is the additional wording added by the Catholic church to make the 'Trinity look real. On the whole the Bible is still the word of God, but has become adulterated and a person really needs the truth to understand it.

Yes, it's the BEST counselor, and it has a lot of wisdom. But I don't think it was ever intended to carry ALL the wisdom you need. God will provide other sources along the way. But you should always use the Bible to test those other sources.

Bible is the oldest book in the world. People have tried to destroy it. However, Bible is still exist until now. In fact, Bible has been translated into so many languages. It shows that Bible is needed. Bible gives messages that lead us closer to God. Bible reveals the key of wisdom.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto to you."

It has all the wisdom you need and can give you counsel. However, I have found through my Pastor that listening to him pastor me on Sundays and Wednesday explains what the Bible is telling me to do. Therefore, he provides the best counsel using the Bible as his guidebook.

The Bible is the inspired word of God, written by people who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. A study of the Bible will answer your life's questions. There is no substitute for a personal study of the Bible. A Christian Counselor hopefully is well grounded in Biblical study and can offer specific answers to your life's questions. When you pray you speak to God, when you read the Bible, God speaks to you.

Yes, it has all the wisdom one needs when considering whether to sell one's daughter into slavery (Exodus 21:7). Or about whether you can wear cotton-lycra mix underwear (Leviticus 24:10-16). And when you're struggling with the worthiness of mixed planting in your vegetable bed (Leviticus 19:19) or whether or not you can go to church wearing glasses (Leviticus 21-20), the bible's all you need.

No, I'd go for the Holy Quran as it is the only Divine Book that has not been modified since it was revealed to humanity. Just read it and you know what I mean. Facts presented in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago can be proved even today.

Yes the bible is your road map and guide to find all you will need. As it is the first book it is officially the source of all wisdom.

The Bible is a guide ONLY for the supernatural world. Here on Earth, common sense and some secular knowledge is more useful.
