Yeah, I used to say I never liked bananas or custard. I think it was the look of the colour and texture that put me off. But last year I tried custard for the first time (I'm 25!) - and I loved it. Now apple crumble isn't the same without it. And a great snack is chocolate or digestives dipped into custard. Yum yum. So some foods are worth a try. But all the same, I'll not try something spicy. No way!

I don't fancy eating sheeps eyeballs but as I have never tasted them i could not say I didn't like them.
I will give anything a try within reason, just for the hell of it, maybe it is me that is the "nutter"

I think most people, if they're honest, will own up to having said they don't like something when they've never even tried it.
I'm guilty of it - said I don't like jellied eels or squid, but I haven't actually tasted them. The look is enough to put me off!!
My partner is exactly the same. When we met he said he didn't like melon, but I got him to try it and he's now a convert.
So providing the look or the smell aren't too off putting I think we should give something a go before saying we don't like it.

Then say you don't fancy it then, and you won't drive your partner nuts! Voila!
I never say that - I always try stuff before I give an opinion. If I'm asked whether I like something and I haven't tried it - I say I've never tried it! XD

No, you are quite normal, if you don't like the smell of something you probably will not like the taste, and the very idea of something will put a lot of people off eg. mollusks, haggis, overcooked veg. He shouldn't try to force you to eat something you don't like or fancy.

Nope. I can tell just by looking at a food if I will like it or not.
Sometimes even touching stuff that I don't care to eat gives me the willies! Does that make me weird? I hope not!

definitely not , more often than not if you dont like the look or smell of a certain food it will put you off eating it , the taste sense is usually well behind sense of smell when deciding what food to eat.

No !
I have a long list of foods I "don't like" yet I haven't even tasted half of them.
My other half goes mad too, if we ever eat out I always have to choose where we eat as "I'm the fussy one" !!
Nevermind we all have our own little "ways"
