in other words; you don't have to do the dishes because you don't have to use a bowl and a fork to mix the egg white and yolk.

No because inside the egg shell the yolk is cushioned by the egg whites, (Because just like human babies the egg whites is like the ambiotic fuild that protects baby chickens) so even if you shake it really hard chaces of you breakeing the egg yolk is slim to nothing.

But good thinking on your part.

no, but I just cut out a recipe for omelets for a crowd that is super. Assemble all the ingredients, eggs,cheese, onion, peppers, tomatos, diced ham, etc. and let each person put their own omelet together in a boiling bag and drop in boiling water for a couple of minutes. It's supposed to slide right out on your plate. I was wondering if you could do the same thing with a microwave?

I really dont think it will mix up that much, in a tight area. But you can always crack it in the pan & scramble it. I dont add milk to my omelettes.

no b/c that string inside the egg holds the yolk in place so you wont be be to scramble the egg inside of the shell,
