I became a permanent resident in 2005 and an eligible to become US citizen in 2008. I was just wondering if there is a faster legal way to become a citizen. I try to join the army but fail the medical due to physical disability. Any suggestions.
Thank you.

Nope mah there is no way you can get it faster. Marrying a citizen will not expediate your process because you are already a resident, so that won't make much of a difference, The only way I see that you can get your citizenship quicker is in fact to join the military but you say you have already tryed to no avail. Just wait it out time will pass before you know it. Muahzzz!!! .

I'm assuming since your eligible in only 3 yrs. after getting your permanent resident card, you're already married to a US citizen. That's the minimum! Be careful-if you try to divorce , you'll be forced to wait the minimum of 5 yrs.

Nope. Even if you married an american citizen it'd take 2 years at best. Wife didn't get her green card till a year (almost year and a half) after we got married. 2 years after that she can become a citizen.
