there's not enough information to really tell you why. i would try sitting them down at the table and telling them how you feel. they may not even realize they're doing it.

This is a hard question to answer. It could be that they need more time together, or that the stress of daily living is starting to wear on them. Don't ever think that it is because they don't love you anymore, parents will always love there children even if you do the most horrible things. Don't let it bother you, find a hobby or take walks and let your mind be at peace for a change. It sounds like it is stress related. Find something that you enjoy to do like scrap booking, or writing poems or stories, anything to get your focus on the future and not the present. You can do it. Good luck and don't take it to heart.

Your parents are more than likely doing the best they can, are run off their feet and are so busy that they unintentionally forget promises they made and just not to you. They could also be under a lot of stress from their work place. Be patient and just love them. Like kids sometimes they just need to know that there is someone who just loves them. That makes all the difference

Well, girl, hang in there. There might be something they aren't telling you about. Believe me, it's entirely possible. They might have gotten into an argument or something while you were in bed or away, something like that. Something might be wrong and they might be trying to hide it. Anything could be the source.Alternatively they might just be stressed out from raising a kid. It's tough.

If you're really concerned, ask them what's wrong. If they get mad at you for asking it probably means something is pretty bad wrong. If they just say "nothing" then they are probably just stressed out from having a kid (cooking, cleaning, etc). Either way, almost anything is possible.

Good luck and God bless you girl.

As far as fake promisies that is part of life I would make a list of all the things that are bothering you. Them let them jnow that you need to talk to them. Go somewhere quiet where there is no distractions and tell them how you feel. They are probably stressed too. But at least this way you can get some answers. Best of Luck.

Just try to be patient with them. Sometimes your parents may be undergoing some problems that they do not reveal to you. It may be a very difficult time for them. Maybe financially, etc. Give it time and most importantly communicate to them how you feel. Tell them respectfully how you have been feeling. If you let them know, I'm sure they will be more than happy to try harder to help you feel at ease. If you communicate with your parents, your less likely feel the need to confide on strangers which can be very damaging. Please go to your parents for help.

I know its hard,as a parent of a 14 yr old here is my advice.Tell them you need 5 min from their schedule and tell them how you feel.Do this calmly cause anger or shouting will only cause them to not listen and you to probably get into trouble. If this doesnt work try talking to a close family member maybe they can get the point across to your parents.Good luck.God bless.:)

You have not provided the enough information here. But however I think you should be kind , honest and obedient to your parents. You should not make any useless demands to parents. prove them that you are a responsible girl and you are quite able to understand and handle the different kind of family situations. Candidly share your feelings with them.To know more you can mail me

Could be any number of reasons: Common ones
1) Too preoccupied with their own lives.
2) Not being able to agree amoungst themselves - one promises you something without the others consent (and example might be getting a piercing or letting you die your hair) and the other one is totally opposed and they hope by putting you off that eventually you will forget about it.
3) Not knowing how to to not knowing how to deal with you and/or your requests and feel that by putting you off they are avoiding a drama scene.
One way to clear it up any of the above is good with good communication and talking to them about how you feel without manipulating them into "your" position.

Some parents behave like that.
This may be due to some untold reasons.
They may be either selfish and interested in their own happiness.
You may not be their real child.
This secret is only known by them.
Ask them this question.
Or you have to become independent fast and leave them to live independently.
