tattoos are prohibited by leviticus 19:28 - but roman catholics have never paid much attention to the parts of the old testament they don't like.

I dont think so tattoo has something to do with the religion, why we follow the religion to not to hurt each other, spread love. So religion has nothing to do with a tattoo. So n'joy your tattoo

The question is how will get together the Virgin Mary tatoo
from the back with the flaming snake wraped rose biting skull
on the right arm and the Corazon Espinado from your backside
"right cheek".

Its alright .But sometimes you get addicted to it and your character may drastically change, going over certain limits.
Please note that if your parents do not agree kindly refrain from getting a tattoo.

i had a tattoo done before i became of christian, i may not be a catholic but i believe it is wrong for children of God to be permanantly marking their skin.
Whether we know right & wrong, we still have choice.

It is okay for anyone to get a tattoo: it may be "better" that you don't but thank God for GRACE that allows humanity to live abundantly (but not ungratefully).

The bible says that marking your body is a sin.
But it is not a sin that cannot be forgiven.
Tattoos are something you have to live with for a long time.
I would say don't get one.
