Frankly, the whole concept of conversion is strange to me, at least when it concerns religion.

Religion is not like a piece of clothing that one can change when one wants. God in his infinite wisdom, has placed each person in a religion (or lack thereof).

Who are we to over-ride God's will and change it. True, God has given each of us a freedom of choice. But this is to be used in judging right from wrong , and good from evil. Not in judging his will by choosing a religion.

A religion is like a guideline for life, and in any case should not be accepted only because somebody else believes it should be so. Truth is that any person should pick the religion that makes them feel right for reasons of their own and not others, because a way of life that you are confident about will make you more productive in society.

The purpose of religion is to become pleasing to God. Sometimes affecting anthers' feelings is pleasing to God...sometimes not. It's always a life-long search but the trick is to try and find what God wants and not what the individual wants.

Remember, it's always better to do the loving than it is to be loved.

When someone converts to a religion purely because of exposure to it then its wrong. When you convert, you must convert based upon believes, values and understanding of that religion.

he has to be sure what religion he wants to follow, but first he has to study about both religions and get good knowledge and compare, he has to follow the religion of truth, with clear proofs and where he can feel comfortable and in peace and harmony in his soul and heart.

Not every born-again is a born-again, some are just gone again, and what goes around, comes around.
Believe what you like and die happy, but death brings truth and there is no turning back, cause it aint over till its over.

He should stay with god for he is good a the time. Even though he'll want his family, God is flatout the better choice.
