because as long as there are people on this earth there's always going to be people that mock Jesus ,, and there's always going to be people that try to change the word of god ,,this way there will be a lot of people that get deceived , and want know what the real truth is, the real truth is in the bible the unadulterated word of god, and there's always someone trying to change the meaning of his word , because they don't live by it to start with , and if they can change the word of god or twist it a little to make it sound a Little different , then they can feel a Little better about there self's , i must admit , I'm always finding myself coming up a little short ,of what god expects of me, but that just gives me reason to try harder, but mankind would do away with the word of god if they could , that way they caould live anyway they want and not feel guilty about what there doing wrongdont you dare reconsider your beliefe in god , thats why you need to be carful what you watch, if something goes against the word of god , i stay away from it, better safe thay sorry, and i live a very happy and fullfilled life, without the guilt, .

Some movie makers know the truth and they laugh at the fact that the Bible is a trick that Christians wont catch on to till its too late.
Monty Python nearly hit the nail on the head with Life of Brian.
Mel Gibson portrayed one of the crucified thieves and didn't know it.
Da Vinci code knows the fact that Christ was not crucified but wants to cash in on it in a smart way.
Have you ever seen the old-time Passion Play that was filmed before they got near comic movement in film?
If you did you would probably die laughiing at all the crowd moving fast and getting nowhere and everybody looks like Shrek, but that was created to make the Christ and his twelve companions and the Romans and the crowd look like Charlie Chaplain.
And now you ask why they mock Jesus when he has always been mocked by the 4 Gospels?
It was Christ who got off free and was out of Jerusalem before they crucified the two thieves with the crosses that identified them as Jesus.
The Jews got what they were looking for from Puncher the Pilot, and even today their children still carry the blood of Jesus in the Land that they lost with that attempt to murder Immanuel.
Now they got to build walls like Mao Tse Tung so they could jump off a wall instead of into a lake.

Movie makers are always mocking Jesus ,for the simple reason that christianity is a very tolorant religion!. For instance, every attempt by jornalists or liberals to portrail any character/s in a certain middle-eastern religion as being ordinary or to openly critisize any aspect/s of their faith has always been met with reaction that is often less than savoury. This in general has serve as a deterrant to all movie-makers.similarly, if it was'nt for the christians- turn-the other-cheek sort of attidute... movie makers would poses a much more sober attidute about JESUS.

The greatest mocker of Jesus are the church. They have failed to come up witj a good and convincing proof on the status of Jesus. Like the muslim who would tell you categorically that Muhammad [saw] is no more than a Prophet, Messenger and Servant of God. Ask just two xtns attending the same church, on who Jesus really is, and you'd be stunned by the different answers you'd get.
The bible says differently, the papal quote differently, the congregation belief differently. A house of confusion you'd call that.

Always? I think you are overstating it a bit there. The Da Vinci Code was not really mocking Jesus, it just offered an alternative story. It was a fictional tale based on a real person who's life has been fictionalised a bit.

Because his story is nonsensical. He is a demigod born out of a mother that was a virgin. He has special powers and works as a carpenter. Then he rounded up some followers and went around preaching the word. He was captured and crucified and buried ,but then he rose form the dead and later ascended into heaven . Sounds like one hell of a tale to me.

Maybe they are not mocking, maybe they are just giving an alternative view to Christianity and that might include disagreeing with the accepted views.

If you were so sure that Jesus and God were real, it wouldn't bother you that someone makes a fictional movie about them. It's a free world, if people want to mock Jesus they can do that as they please.
