"Amharic" is a language spoken in Ethiopia( a country in the horn of Africa).As an Ethiopian, I can tell you that the way you greet an elderly person and a young person is differnt.But in general,for a man it is "Dehna neh"? & for a wonan it is" dehna nesh"?.These are for young people.For an elderly person that you highly respect, it is "dehna not?" .

It is an Ethiopian language. Amharic is a semitic language, similar to Arabic. I do not know the language. Sorry, I can not tell you how to greet.

Ethiopia, and if I'm not mistaken, Eritrea also. I had a friend from Eritrea once and I believe that he spoke Amharic.
