If I fell in love with a handicapped person, but then if I found it too difficult to cope for any reason, I may let that person go, but unless I get into that situation I don't know how I would handle it.

I'm not a girl but I'm not able to walk don't have a right hip joint, I can't walk . and the answer that question is NO. i know most girl try to be nice and say that yeah they would go and date with a handicap person, but the reality is different.

I am a guy answering for this question. Handicap is nothing in the physical sense. It is entirely the way you feel in your heart. Any real girl would definitely see the quality within the guy and not his physical well being.

I think your question needs some narrowing down. There are different forms of handicaps: mental, physical....blindness is a handicap, deafness is a handicap... the list is endless and the scope large.

Dating is akin to liking the person which somehow could lead to love... and when we feel that sense of liking someone or loving someone, boundaries are non existent that mean handicap or not handicap is not the issue... Its the issue of mutual understanding and feelings...

Depends on the handicap. If he had downs syndrome (childs brain then no) if he had his wits about him like an adult whos paraplegic from an accident yes.

Well it depends how seriously handicap they are and if they are able to care for themselves but really I am so shallow they would have to be good looking.

that depends on the person.
i know lots of men that i'm not remotely attracted to and would never dream of going out with, i also know several guys with various handicaps (deafness, paralysis) and i wouldn't go out with them either simply because i'm not attracted to that particular person.
