Book is written by people, not by god, laws are written by people, not by god, therefore, both books and laws are subjected to different interpretation by different people, when there is certain rules governing the interpreting of laws/books, there will be due process to reach the proper interpretation everyone will follow, that's how the laws are interpreted in the US, when there is no accepted process , people with the guns and the determination to use the guns will force other people to accept their views, that's why so many moderate Muslims embrace the many thing explicitly forbidden by their holy book, because if they didn't do it, they will be assassinated/lynched, whether there is a process or not and whether the process are accepted by most people or not and whether most people are willing to defend the process or not will determine whether the result will be the rule of law or the rule of mob.

Why do we always generalize although each of us wants respect for being individual?

Also, Muslims do not say that Quran is the word of Allah, Allah says that and Muslims ought to believe in that.

Heaven is not one level so not everyone be rewarded the same level. So if God say so about Heaven, why do we expect all Muslims to be rewarded the same level.

Finally, Judging the religion from the actions of its people is a mistake unless we identify those who really believe and act according to religion.
As this is becoming rare, you should refer to Quran and verified Hadith, so you judge yourself.

[4:93] Anyone who kills a believer on purpose, his retribution is Hell, wherein he abides forever, GOD is angry with him, and condemns him, and has prepared for him a terrible retribution.

Before that:

[4:92] No believer shall kill another believer, unless it is an accident. If one kills a believer by accident, he shall atone by freeing a believing slave, and paying a compensation to the victim's family, unless they forfeit such a compensation as a charity. If the victim belonged to people who are at war with you, though he was a believer, you shall atone by freeing a believing slave. If he belonged to people with whom you have signed a peace treaty, you shall pay the compensation in addition to freeing a believing slave. If you cannot find* a slave to free, you shall atone by fasting two consecutive months, in order to be redeemed by GOD. GOD is Knower, Most Wise.

Question I have: What is a beleiver and a Non believer for a Muslim ? And what is the duty of a beliver towards a non-believer

Here are some responses from the Koran:

2:26

This Book is not to be doubted.... As for the unbelievers, it is the same whether or not you forewarn them; they will not have faith. God has set a seal upon their hearts and ears; their sight is dimmed and grievous punishment awaits them.

3:86

He that chooses a religion over Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the world to come he will be one of the lost.

2:23-6

If you doubt what We have revealed to Our servant, produce one chapter comparable to it. Call upon your idols to assist you, if what you say be true. But if you fail (as you are sure to fail) then guard yourselves against the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the unbelievers.

What happens to Non-Beleivers (non-muslims):

2:191
If you doubt what We have revealed to Our servant, produce one chapter comparable to it. Call upon your idols to assist you, if what you say be true. But if you fail (as you are sure to fail) then guard yourselves against the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the unbelievers.

4:76
Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Satan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Satan...

Muslims cannot ignore any part of the Koran. If they could, Islam would have been reformed years ago. The Koran in Islam is understood as THE very word of God. All other religions understand their own scriptures as God inspired.

So you bring out a quote that calls for Peace. You omit to bring the context of that Peace. That peace is not Inner peace or inner revelation it is in the context of rules and is addressed ONLY to Muslims or Beleivers...

If non-muslim truly took the time to read the Koran and if Muslim were confident about their faith in allowing Criticism then these points would be address and we could discussed these double standards.

One thing is sure, Muslim Apologist tend to scream out loud that terrorists are not following Islam... The issue is this: Are apologist really following Islam ?

Because they are deluded by the material life, they have no concern about the life of the hereafter.
Not many muslims, but they are just the uneducated few.

Let's see...
-your friend wrote you a message and tell you to meet him at 9 this morning.
-you ignore that message because you want to stay at your house for the entire day.
-Does that mean that the message was not from your friend?
