Intelligence is relative. We can only judge intelligence in human terms. When one looks at the highest human intelligence, all acknowledge that they know nothing. (Socrates: all I know is that I don't know, Edison: we don't know one millionth of one percent about anything). Based on that, I'd say that it's a pretty good sign of intelligence, regardless of what you measure it against.

The mere fact you are questioning the human race is a trait of intellectual curiosity. You are doubting the existence intelligence on earth, meaning you seek the truth behind something that may not be there.

Firstly, you have to define intellegence (and spell it!). There are at least 7 types-emotional, numeric, musical, spatial intra and inter personal etc etc etc. The wider the defenition, the more possibilities and the more inclusive it becomes. You can only prove its existence when you have defined it.
