It never says in the bible that God exclusively created Adam and Eve, it's metaphorical. It's actually commonly believed among christians and non-christians that there were more people around. e.g. when Cain was banished for killing his brother Able, he went out into the world and said to God, 'but if anyone finds out I killed my brother surely they will kill me' and God replied 'I will mark you so that any man who lays a hand on you you will be avenged sevenfold.' (or words to that effect). So there must have been other people.
Also, when out there I believe he found a wife and had children just like everyone else. There were lots of other people around at that time.
Besides, I'm still of the arguement that it doesn't matter how it happened, it only matters who made it happen. There are certain things beyond our understanding and certain things we don't need to know.

The story of Adam and Eve is not factual. It is Christian mythology. Clearly it is not possible for everybody on the planet to be decended from only 2 people. There is too much variety in humanity for this to have been possible, not to mention that we all know the dangers of genetic abnormalities when people who are too closely related inter-breed.

hi....Once upon a time there was two baby's found in a bush,a boy and girl ,god decided to give a helping hand until they were teenagers then he let them please them selfs and they had a fun time...their names were adam and eve they were always naked and clean shaven so they were very attracted to each other.....
they knew about their biography being wrote in the bible,so they made it interesting.......loads of cider and sex...abit like dynasty.
Eve was putting weight on and realised she was pregnant,as baby's was being born and growing up in to young men and women,they decided to have ago too,loads of cider and sex.... and i suppose they didn't care about being brother and sister and the complications that are caused from blood related baby's....but nevermind!!!
the population was caused by the baby's produced by adam and eve, their baby's grow into young adults and also have baby's of their own, which makes adam and eve, granny and grandad at 32,but dont forget they'r still making baby's too.....as during the years the baby's are being born,adults are growing and more family's are being produced from children to grand children,during the years a very large family tree has grown and every minuit of the day a new baby is being born,because its a very large family.........Adam and Eve are still having baby's at 50,within 30 years there is a very large family of 1000 and more.......
I do think its more to do with the apes though! but nevermind....

Adam and eve were created on the 8th day, all the other races were create on the 6th day.
Go back and read genesis the 1st page real slow and see were God said let us create man in our image male and female he created them! so you will see he created female on the 6th day. and after the 7th day of rest god created Adam and then eve. read it your self. if you ask somebody they all seem to miss this so read it yourself and you will see!I know this will help!

if you believe that, then you probably believe in the tooth fairy too. there are whole continents of people who've never even heard of adam and eve. think about it and then go out and learn more about the world.

Is this just a myth, as we are supposed to originate from apes .

They copulate and gave birth. We lost the number of years or the age of the world you know. It really took time. Here we are today, brothers and sisters.
