I see lots of people suffer because of poverty and physical disabilities since born. I feel lucky and guilty at the same to them cos they suffer and I'm not. Why do they have to suffer?

Indri, u shd feel lucky and glad for being aloof. But don't ever feel guilty, coz u r not the one responsible for their sufferings.

However what you can do is help 'em in whatever way possible, i.e emotionally, financially, or being a member of a NGO. The the abilities that u have, use it to help those who dont, and never fret that u are abler than others, rather improve and increase them to the extent possible so that u can make a difference in the lives of people who are in need of ur abilities and help.

The basic question that u hve put forward, can be answered in innumerable ways, possibly infinite. Let me explain that to u wrt Hindu philosophy. Accg to it, every living entity in this universe is bound by 'Karma', the tag of one's actions(physical, and of the mind), that decides in which family u wud b born, how rich and educated u wud b, how much love and affection u wud receive, how happy u wud b and of course how many ppl u wud help(i.e virtually everything related to u). If u hve accumulated +ve karma(by good deeds) u inherit happiness, richness and gud thins in life. But, if u hve accumulated -ve karma(by bad and evil deeds), u inherit sorrow, pain, hatred and poverty. Fundamentally, its "What u sow is what u reap".

So, God has given u a better condition so that u can continue doing ur good work and help and motivate others to do the same :)

I also ask the same question from time to time. It confuses me when some people say that each person was put in certain situations to learn particular values etc. But why are some children born in such poverty - so poor that they die within a few weeks without having a chance to change their fate?
I hope it has nothing to do with our past lives (if you believe in reincarnation at all) because punishing an innocent baby because of sins in their previous life is not fair at all.

That seems to be the big question. Maybe you're here in this way for a reason. If you feel that way then do good things with the tools God gave you. If you weren't physically or financially well, I would say the same thing. Don't feel guilty.

I know what you're trying to say. The funny thing is... I always felt some rich people felt this way, but I never heard a rich person say it. So I find this interesting. Rich people aren't in a better condition then anybody. That's your answer. We all have to die. The test is... what you will do with your situation. I'm not saying you have to donate even one penny. It's not about that. The only one who needs to know you care is God. Today you have shown with this question that you have a heart. I believe today you have passed one of Gods tests.

i assume from your question that you believe in the God of the bible. Becoming a christian doesn't mean you don't suffer or that your life will be perfect. It's possible that you're at a place in your life that you are being tested in your ability to help those that are suffering (christian or not).
Jesus said that whatever you do for the least of these, you have done for me.

They have different challenges in this life than you do. Im sure that you will find that there are lessons and challenges that you must over-come in your life too. Life is suffering. Maybe you can help to make someone else's suffering less.

This assumes that God is meticuloulsy controlling all events. Perhaps God did not place you in a better position than others. Maybe there is some room for chance involved.

It's from the genes. I don't really know why God made them... I think people that are disabled are people who are special. We have to take care of them and share our love to them. Maybe God made them so that you can share your love to them. Maybe.

there are two lives which balance each other. this life and the life after death (or day of judgement).

people are four catagories:

1) people who are rewarded in this life and after
2) people who are rewarded in this life but NOT after (Hell waiting for them)
3) people suffer in this life and get a great reward after
4) people suffere in this life and recieve great punishment after (Hell waiting for them)

so which catagory are you?
