drink a lot of water and make sure you relax and get sleep. and even though it's not a proven fact that this helps, it seems to help me... eat chicken soup. don't do strenuous tasks like play basketball etc.

Echinacea 2-3 three times a day at first sign of cold. Hot bath. Lots of liquid and rest.

Cold-eze and Zycam. Both work wonders for me. A cold usually lasts me 2-3 days.

Barrage yourself just before sleep with 3 medicines at once... Vicks to help you breathe easier and surpress cough, nyquil to help you sleep and to aid the vicks in symptom suppression, and any expectorant medicine such as robitussin, which will actually help cure what ails ya.

Drink plenty of water and eat onions: they're really rich in vitamin C...
And, don't go out: you need to rest, and if you take my advice you'll smell on onions... :) But you will get better real fast!

rest is the main thing. hot soup, tea, or orange juice are others. try things that make you feel good without a lot of effort.
