First step is to stop listening to what other people think the problem may be. Men ofetn drift away for a number of reasons.
It could be that he has lost interest or found someone else. On the other hand he may feel neglected by you and wants you to give him some affection.
What ever the case confront him, solve it.

well sweetie he's just not into you anymore... don't try to analyse anything, he's just not interested anymore..do yourself a favour and don't waste your precious time on a guy thats not into you ,if he was he'd be banging down your door and calling you. So move on and find someone else who is worthy of you ;)

HE MAY BE TRYING TO GIVE YOU SIGNS THAT HE WANTS TO END THE RELATIONSHIP BUT IS SCARED TO TELL YOU SO HE IS TRYING TO LET YOU FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN. WHEN A MAN ALL OF SUDDEN DISTANCES HIMSELF FROM A RELATIONSHIP FOR NO REASON IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY THAT HE IS CHEATING ON YOU
