Studies show and are proven that if you marry to early at your age there is a huge chance of divorce just as early. Experience life first and if he is still speaking with you and keeping in touch then do it AFTER you BOTH have had the time to get out and have fun or there will be tons of "tension" between you both because you didnt get the chance to go and party, date other people, have enough job experience, learn from other peoples mistakes that you meet along the way, be observant to others, you'll learn a lot of do's and donts real quick. I dated my high school sweet heart for 2 yrs, he moved and I moved to different states, did the long distance thing, decided to break up and try new things so we wouldnt hate eachother later, it's been 8 yrs and he still talks to me and I talk to him, we help eachother through thick and thin situations and he has thanked me for breaking up with him cause now he see's that there are a lot of F*cked up people in this world and only one person he can count on that he has built a sturdy relationship with were both 26yrs old, our b-days are 5 days apart.....him and I both want to still enjoy the lives we have made seperately from eachother, I realize during that time, hell yes I wanted to marry him and be together forever, but now that i've done what i've done and i'm out enjoying myself, its' not what I wanted at all. Same for him, we made a deal instead, "If were not married to someone else by 34 then we would get married" therefore the relationship would also not be based on just one thing if you know what i mean. sorry if i wrote your rear off, just wanted to share some personal experience with you. But I do hope everything does go well for you, and just remember it is 2006, there are more independent women out there these days that live life to the fulliest, without having bf's or husbands.

Personally, I think it's too young. A person can change dramatically between 19 and 25. The person you're in love with now, could change into someone totally different. If you're meant to be together, things will work out and you can get married in a few more years.

I got married at 17 and I am still married 8yrs
It is the hardest job besides raising our 1 and 2 yr olds
Have fun and finish school first. You can be engaged for a while till you get your life together.
I am still totally in love with my husband but I admit we should have waited a little longer till we got married. We are still full time students and it is so hard!!!
Good luck and God Bless

I have nothing againsts it. What I am against is this countries increasing divorce rate. Don't get married unless you want to spend the rest of your life with that person. I don't know you, but I don't meet many people my age who are able to handle that responsibility and I am 19.

No, I'd wait until 21. I think that if you're going to be married you may as well be legally allowed to drink. :)

Actually, I'm not going to get married until homosexual couples are allowed the same right.

No...too young since the marriage have so complicated problem that i am afraid i couldn't stand with that.
Too many years after that i have to face with same person that i afraid i have choose a wrong person spent my whole life with.
and bla..bla..bla....many reasons

BUT...if you already found your right man and your true love and your soul-mate...do not listen to other. Just go on what you think it is right,..just go on merit if you think he is the man whose you're looking for even you have your whole life you can't find same men...that means you can not let your chance go...!!!

Thinking carefully...your happiness depend on your decision!!
