i think its still good afternoon, because theoretically the hours from 00:00 to 11:59 is morning, whereas 12:00 onwards is the afternoon.

No, no, no. No one is allowed to say anything at exactly 12 noon. You either have to be quick and say good morning at one second to 12 noon, or wait until it's a second after noon, THEN you can say "Good Afternoon!"

Noon starts at 12. After that you say "Good Afternoon".

I think as for me i can bet its 'good after noon.' My arguement is based on that exact noon takes only a second (12:00:00) then a second later its past 12 :00:01 but still remains noon.

It's like this: until 11:59 A.M it's Good Morning.
From 12 till 3 P.M it's Good Afternoon.
From 3 up till 6 A.M next day it's Good Evening.

No, because Noon only lasts for one second. You couldn't say "good noon" in only one second. It would be good afternnoon before you could speak the words if you started at noon.

u say "good afternoon".
its usually said after 12 p.m. prolly up until 4 p.m.
then it becomes "good evening"
