Can pain from kidney stones be felt on the opposite side?

I HAVE 2 STONES IN MY LEFT KIDNEY, BUT AM HAVING RECURRING PAIN IN MY MID-TO LOWER BACK ON THE RIGHT SIDE. COULD THE STONES FROM THE LEFT KIDNEY BE CAUSING THE PAIN?

yes, the pain can radiate. The majority of the pain should be over the affected side, but its not uncommon for some to have pain on the opposite side. If the pain is the same on both sides, you might want to be checked for additional kidney stones.
