Only one way: all people belong to one biologic race 'Homo sapiens'. Beings of the same race have fertil children. I believe that your worries are not based enough.

The first thought that comes to mind is why not try taking a DNA test? But I have to admit, I don't really know if a DNA is going to indicate what races are in you - but genealogists have been using DNA tests to trace their ancestors back. But I think the DNA test is certainly worth a look.

You will have to find out where your ancestors came from on both sides of your family. Most likely if you are white then that is your race. kBeing English, German, Irish and others is not race it is only a place where peo[ple are.

Your race is White/ Caucasian, what I believe you mean is your ethnicity, in which case you will need to know not only what Country you are from but what countries your ancestors derive from.

Here's a good website to get started on http://www.familysearch.org/ , and many Mormon churches have extensive genelogical resources available. Just pick up your nearest telephone directory and you can probably find a genelogical resource center near you. They'll even help you, and are usually free to the public.

3 methods, used by anthropologists and archeologists:
1) Trace back the origin of your family name, and you parents, and parents parents.
2) Genetics, but this is still not developed for private use
3) Best if you know your family history 3 or 4 generations back.

Geneology. Tracing the male names in your family and finding out their ancestry should help pinpoint some countries of origin.
