I think it might. Its a whole lot more positive than dwelling on being larger. If you dwell on your flaws they get exagerated in your mind. Then you get depressed and it sabotages your efforts. Nothing good comes from that. people who think sick and hopeless usually dont get well as fast or at all and people who think well and positive have better chances of getting well. on the same therapies. They use positive thoughts like imagining themselves cancer free to help cancer patients and it really does helps some people. Nothing works on everyone. But when you are depressed or sad or scared your body chemistry changes. if you have negative feelings about yourself, your body will follow and react to those feelings. I have heard that if a patient thinks he is going to die on an operating table that doctors have canceled operations. I think if you did a controlled test on imagining yourself thin where they all ate a measured amount it would probably show some affect. Your mind controls how you process food and how your body distributes it and even where and whether it needs to store extra fat or not. Its all regulated by your brain. If people can make their heart slow or speed up by thinking about it, then why not how, where and when it stores and uses fat. Thats just my humble opinion. If it worked all the time though, everyone would be doing it. I feel it helps me but I think its because its easier to eat right when I feel better about myself. It makes me want to take better care of myself. So my regular meals are no longer supersized regular meals. Just well portioned regular meals. Imagining yourself as a perfect healthy and wonderful person who eats just what they need to and no more. Letting that be what you focus on. Only good can come of it.

If you mean, will having regular small meals help you to lose excess weight, then yes. But you need to keep up exercise (calories don't burn themselves off, however few you take in). And don't eat so little it counts as an eating disorder. Food is there to be enjoyed, only sensibly.

If you mean, can I wish myself thinner, then no.

No. But having sex two or three times a day WILL make you smaller (not to be too forward with someone I'll never meet, just stating a fact).

HAHAHA...nooo. If that method worked, I'm sure many people would rather do that then spend billions of $$ a year on diet aids and surgeries.

I'm not really sure that's possible. Maybe if you keep thinking about it, your subconsiounce will make it real. I hear anything is possible with the subconsiounce.
