Can't completely evaluate his presidency right now. We will have to see what becomes of all the things he has set in motion.
Keep in mind that some of our best presidents were wildly unpopular in their day - Jefferson, Lincoln, and T. Roosevelt. I am not suggesting he will ever be in that league, just that there is a good chance that all the rhetoric about what is going on is short sighted and prevents us from properly evaluating the long term impact of his presidency.
As a man I guess he's a good guy. He cares for his family; doesn't seem to lie, cheat, or steal (I can't listen to those panty-wearring sisies who think he lied everyone into war - if they're not even smart enough to read the actual words he used and pay attention to the UN Resolutions). I think he's a little creepy sometimes, but I'm not inviting him to any cook-outs.
As a world leader? Hmmm. I don't care. If the euro-weenies and insecure Canadians don't like him what do I care? If the presidency had to answer to all those constituencies then we would be in real trouble.
My opinion about his presidency in generic terms: C- on domestic issues (the brutal expansion of the federal government) and grades are still out on foreign issues (if I had to guess it's probably going to be around a B-.

Speaking as an outsider (non-US citizen) I can only offer this opinion. You ask if he is a good world leader, I would have to so no. Sadly, Mr. Bush has chosen to not only lie to the world in regards to Iraq, he has forgotten the first rule of leadership: own up to your mistakes, be a statesmen and above all lead with integrity. He has not done this. His foreign policy is a one trick pony. A war in Iraq, that frankly is not winnable no matter what Condie says. A domestic policy that is in shambles (republicans are more worried about two men marrying than whether levies are holding in New Orleans).
America is a great nation and I mean no disrespect, but you must understand, you may see Mr. Bush as a great leader, but if he is to be a world leader, it is the world who will judge and at the moment it's not looking good.
One final note if I may, a nation can only lead when its leaders are true not only to the ideals on which it was founded but also on the notion that a nation is not a monolithic entity with but one vision. Mr. Bush sees only one way, that if kept unchecked, will ultimately be to Americas detriment.

I dont know what you are but im a democrat. I think that Bush has screwed this nation he has put us in the very position we have tried to avoid for years. Were over there in a war at the moment for oil. For money. Its always for money and Americians think that were doing them justice. Well we have also seen that these people dont want to be helped they dont want to be independent and they wont be we because of Bush will be in there trying to make them a democracy. Hes taken 9/11 and turned it into a way to make money. And i believe that it was intnetional.

yes...well he is ok, but not great would leader...but he is a good man with honorable goals and morals...he is doing what he thinks is in the best interest of the american people...and also for the newly libreated iraq and afganistan people...
I think he is doing pretty good considering all the ney-sayers trying to do anything and everything possible to dirupt his efforts...those disrupting people in my opinion should be tried for treason...or just simply deported to somewhere other than here in america...
Maybe that new england border isn't a bad idea...you libs go off and live up there and do all your dumb programs up there and then you'll see how you all contradict yourselves...

He will go down in history as one of the dirtiest presidents ever, we have not even scratched the surface as to the amount, and depth of crimes committed by him and his regime, which is what they are. He has turned the world against Americans. He calls himself a Christian, I call him the anti- Christ, he will burn in the pits of hell for all eternity. In the meantime, while he is still here among us, he should be charged with treason, war crimes and crimes against humanity and sentenced appropriately.

President: one of the worst ever
World Leader: terrible - acts like a five-year-old trying to act like an adult
Man: not knowing him personally, I can only say that he still acts like an alcoholic who just switched his addiction

I think he is a good man, but not the greatest of leaders. He is better than Jimmy Carter but he's no Ronald Reagan.

It all depends on who you ask and what situation.
If we are talking about all of the men and women that have lost they're lives due to this war then my answer would have to be HELL NO! He is the worst president we have ever had.
