I would like to know about a good leave-conditioner. I don't want to put a lot of crap in my hair that I will have to wash out later anyway. Also, I trim my hair every 4 weeks, but it's just so dry. My problem is my hair is naturally wavy, but I've straightened it a few times ove the years and now it doesn' know what to do. I've products to enhance the curl, but not happy with any of them. Tried blow drying or sraight ironing, but that's too much work.

You live with the fizz unless you're willing to let your sister spend an hour blowdrying, straightening, gelling, brushing and who knows what else. And in the end you look like a poodle anyway.

If you color it stop. You need a good shampoo. Redkin, or Matrix, Biologe are good . Look for a conditioner of equal quality. Remember there are shampoos , conditioners, and finishing rinses. The conditioner is only used once a week or so. Keep it trimmed and if you wear a ponytail use a cloth tie not a rubber band. Comb it carefully and don't tug at knots. Do not sit in the sun or strong wind. That should help.

Just by a flat iron. Seriously. If you straighten your hair that frizziness will disappear. I already have very straight hair but if I want it to look silky smooth I straighten it. You don't need an expensive one, either. A good one will cost 20-30 bucks. (Always wait until your hair is completely dry to do any styling including brushing. Hair is very vulnerable to damage when wet.) If you feel that takes too much time, just straighten the top visible part of your hair, it will cover any frizzier hair underneath.

Pantene strong hold (mouse) Comes in purple can. Do not get extra stong hold. Put through hair very well, make sure hair is slightly wet but not drinched. pat hair with towel after you've moused it well to get rid of any extra moisture. style hair. no friz, with a nice softness to it, dont over mouse. =) hopefully this helps you. Also try switching the brand of shampoo and conditioner that your using. Try Dove shampoo and conditioner, for moisture color treated hair, which works great or Citre Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. Dont use shampoos/conditioners that have strong fruity smells, it acts as a reactor for soon to be frizzed out hair.

Try a light mouse with a little Frizz Ease just after you shampoo and rinse your hair. Let it dry naturally or use a diffuser on cold blast to set the product in the cuticle of your hair.

Don't use a blow dryer. That's a big No-No.
I use Pantene curling spray gel. It's ok if you don't have curly hair, it still helps with the frizz big time. And a little bit of styling mousse goes a long way with frizz. The Frizz-Ease works well also but it's a little on the pricey side.
