Yes, He can. It's called Faith. not proof.

read Heb Ch.11. 22 Faiths.

It easy to love something you can see. God wants your love through the faith of believing.

Have a good week.

He does show himself, everyday in everything.
The sun rises.
A baby is born.
A flower blooms.
Someone falls in love.
A loved one ends their battle with cancer.
Stars light the way through a dark night.
Rain waters the crops.

And He listens and answers every single one of our prayers.
Just, sometimes, the answer is not what we're looking for.

But if you're looking for the booming voice from above or the burning bush, been there, done that.
Baha'ullah said that the time for miracles was over.
And it's true. Hear a voice from the sky and we start looking for people jumping out of airplanes. We're in a stage of rationality. Anything amazing and we have to think the mystery out of it.
Folks tend to forget though, that just because we understand the miracle doesn't mean it isn't a miracle anymore.
We understand how the waters were parted for Moses.
But how did Moses know when and where they would part?

God does speak to us.
just not in the way you are looking for.

I have a different view to this. First of all, I don't see God as just a male apect. I believe that God is either both male and female, or there is a male aspect and female aspect (some called Them the Goddess and God). God appears to us in a way we can understand on an individual level. There are reasons why I believe God won't come now. I believe that the reason why God doesn't come now is because if God does, the same thing will happen again that happened to Jesus. If you think about it, God does show Itself. Nature, rocks, trees, us, etc. are here physically--I see Nature and this planet (even ourselves) as a physical aspect of God. Besides, how can anyone/thing exist if God doesn't? Besides we are the physical aspect of God--we were made in God's image.

It may have something to do with him being invisible.

-- Why he does not come now?
He came only once (inside the virgin Mary), hmmm...

-- Why he does not speak from the sky and tell us what to do?
Excellent question. My answer is: divine beings cannot interact with matter, they can only interact with mind and, you know how in StarTrek it is not permitted to interfere with the civilizations on developing planets? Well it's like that. But sometimes they do a bit anyway, and this is called inspiration.

-- Why we suffer for What Eve/Adam did?
We don't suffer for what they did (this is silly Christian idea and when did their theology ever make sense? And two millennia of Apologetics proves it never did) Eve & Adam suffered too...

To the woman he said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; [Genesis 3:16]

Notice the word "increase"? It means Eve suffered before she ate anything. They were never made perfect.

God wants us to learn from out mistakes that is why he doesn't just speak from the sky. but you can talk to him and yes he does talk back but it's not in the way you think. sometimes you may have a feeling not to do someting or to go a certin way and when you have guilt and regrets. we don't exactly suffer from what Eve/Adam did we have a chance to be forgiven. God is willing to forgive our sins we just have to ask. God is in everyting and everywhere just look at some of the everyday miricles. and when people die and they have asked God into their hearts and are a true beliver they may die in this world but really they are about to enter into a much better life and will have eternal life there. everything happens for a reason

1.after Jesus was crucified for our sins, we no longer suffered from the curse placed upon Adam and Eve (at least, after we'd been baptished).

2.you want to meet God? why don't you go to him? Wanting God to show himself to you, would be the equal of a Janitor asking the CEO of Microsoft to come into his closet so that he may be sure that he exists, and is not just a figment of the other workers imagination. or more like a bacteria wanting to see the CEO of Microsoft in it's own protoplasmic gooo ...

He is God....He can do Anything.....
You have said this yourself. Yes, He can do Anything. He could have created a more beautiful world, within human beings who all love each other, than being the selfish beings that exist today in this world. He is the cause and effect for everything that happens in the World. Since the world that he has created is in such a Mess, he is embarrassed to show himself to the poor, downtrodden, etc.

he does all the time. the trick is, you have to be still and quiet enough to hear him (psalm 46:10). these are big questions - and really good ones, to be sure. keep thinking, keeps asking, keep wondering. (ask, seek, knock). you may have to wait a while, which is great for building peace and patience, but you will get your answers.

and to be honest, im not sure there is a person who can answer these questions. a journey with him is seriously scary, exciting, and wonderful. but he is not going to "speak from the sky"... well, he might, but its doubtful. he is far too subtle for that. and it is a huge blessing that he is that way. he wants us to be trained to the sound of his voice. he doesnt want to dictate orders to us from some loudspeaker overhead. he's way too loving for that. and he wants us to know him much better than that. it takes time, patience, and investment to hear his voice.

take a few minutes out of every day (at least 15) and you will know the "sound" of his voice sooner than you know.

I can't really answer this... i don't have a good answer. :| Religion is something I really don't like talking to other people.. maybe will end up arguing about it. Just be happy live life and be a good person don't worry so much about things.. just be happy.

If we could see God than our faith in him would decrease. It is very evident in all elements around us- in the sea, in the earth, on plants and trees under rocks (millions of creatures), even in the sky, atmosphere and stars in space, that someone one put these objects there. Those things didnt just appear out of nowhere. Its the work of God - he is telling you that he exist. By not seeing him, he remains in your heart

'God' does not show himself because he does not exist. It is said that he would not let his people die *I forget where* but yet, many innocent people have died.

I know this has happened a lot, but one friend's mother was pregnant, one night her water broke, that was the time the baby had died. The baby hadn't even got a chance in life.
Sorry for going off topic.
