I have a student which I know he likes me...he knows that I am engaged and I think he wants to come to my wedding. Would he still come if he is in love with me or is it just "puppy love"?

Most likely, it's just puppy love. If he was really in love with you, he would either come to your wedding to stop it, or he would not come because it hurt too badly.

I think the question is if you love him or if you love the guy you're going to marry. If you are ~worried~ if this guy really loves you, that, to me, shows a sign that you may not be truly in love with your fiance.

If you are, stop stressing about this other guy. He'll get over you wether he's "in love" or just thinks you're cute.

Congrats on the engagement. I, myself am getting married soon. :)

its hard to tell off the info youre giving but you know the way he looks at you, the way he smiles and speaks to you.i the passes he makes the moments you two share...ts obvious he has some sort of feeling for you but you cant determine what it is. whether he loves you are not wont determine his appearence at the wedding seeing you tie the not might add on to his fantasies. the real question is are you interested in him? I think you are because youre asking whether or not he loves you instead of you just getting maried and moving things along...you do care about his feelings....but why? maybe you should hold off on the wedding to make sure youre making the right decision no one wants to live with regrets

It can be anything, but good. You should know better than to get involved with your students to the point where you invite them to your wedding to see if he's in loved with you...by the way, what does the person you are marrying to say about this?why not ask him what he thinks...

You answered your question already.
It is a puppy love, love due to opposite sex. opposite sex attraction.
This is for a short period.
Because you are already engaged, ignrore this man and stop his advances towards you.
If you do anything now to encourage him, then you are unfaithful to the person you are engaged already.
There is no love without crush and sex.
You should know there is no love without sex.
Then why he is not loving the person of same sex. Why he needs a girl to love. Let him love a man instead.

you're a teacher of some sort by the sounds of it... i'd say it's just puppy love... if u love your fiance, he shouldnt matter to you, even if you dont want to hurt him. I believe he still would come to your wedding if he loved you, but do u want to risk it? he could be one of those over-obsessed people who would actually object at a wedding... i dont want to worry you, but it IS possible... perhaps it's not a good idea...

As a teacher, wouldn't you know better than us? I mean, you must be educated at a level that you could decipher mere puppy love to severe crush, or love in that matter?

You know the answer already so I won't state the obvious.

Don't make his life and your life so complicated. If you had a boyfriend and are getting married why did you get involved with a student ?

well, you've mentioned in your query that he is your student...and knowing the way the adolescent mind works (presuming he is still an adolescent), i'm pretty sure its just another crush. but i'm sure you are the object of his teenage fantasies and more. but chill! he'll get over it soon, its only 'puppy love'.
