Instead of waiting until after my period, I went ahead and started the birth control pills early hoping that they would help this period. (They have been HORRIBLE since I've had my daughter) For the past week, I have had cramps and this morning I woke up to my period starting. At least I hope it's my period. Time will tell, I know, but...would implantation bleed enough to soak through a pair of panties? It looked like regular menstration color. Once I soak through a couple of tampons, would it be safe to assume that it's regular menstration? My dr is on holiday and I don't want to go in until I have to. (I HATE going to the doctors.)

I know, I know, I should have waited to start the pills. But there was no real chance of being pregnant and these periods were about to kill me, plus I've stopped them until this menstrual cycle is over.

It might actually be breakthrough bleeding with those BC pills. So technically.. not a period.. but uh probably not pregnant either. Just inconvenienced.

if you are soaking through in less than an hour then you really need medical advice. It could be something really serious. Please call your doctor now!
