We've been seeing eachother for over a year now. He got this extrememly demanding (but very rewarding) job recently out in blazing heat, and he always say's he's drained and too tired to do anything. He'll make plans, but he keeps flaking, and won't spend time with me anymore, which really bums me out. He's also stopped calling, when he called everyday, at least twice, and sent text messages. (All this changed when he got the new job, I'm happy for him, but bummed about not seeing him anymore).

SO Question is, should I move on, and find hapiness elsewhere? Or hang on since he says he still loves me and that if he didn't he'd tell me straight out. I don't know if I should go with my gut (move on) or wait for a month or so when he gets the hang of the new gig?

Go with your gut, always. That's God talkin' girl.

p.s.

love is shown through actions, not talk.

It depends on how much you care for him or not. Are you wiling to wait for him to cme home, or do you really want to go out with someone else who will spend more time with you?

Talk to him first, and tell him how his new job makes you feel. Tell him that the job he has isn't important just as long as you are together, and incourage him to find a new job. However, be prepared to live with less money meaning he might not be able to buy you many gifts, or take you out to very fancy resturants. If he is unable to fimd a new job support him, but continue looking for a new job. If he is unwilling ask yourself weather he finds you, or his job, more important. If you believe he finds his job more important leave, but take him back if you may if he comes around.

Theres no right r wrong answer it all depends on how you'll feel in the future.

My answer is wait for him. Being that I have been in a situation like yours before, I know that you should wait. All people need time to adjust to new surroundings (new job). If, after he is adjusted, he continues this, talk to him about it. If still no change, move on.

he is got not only a new job, but also a new ho. You need to move on and find a nice ugly guy who will worship you. remember pretty boys are player and plain guys are devoted.

Give the poor guy a chance....he's busting his *** for you. Being away from him may be hard for the time being, but if you love him you'll be supportive and patient. Be glad that's he's working and not some lazy S.O.B.

I would give him a month and then move on, if things are the same. But if you really love this guy, don't lose him.

Why not give it a chance. I mean, a month isn't exactly a long time.
