I agree with Fordkiller. I have an upright and would never dream of owning a freezer chest. Too hard to get to everything and I am not the tallest person in the world. Mine is a Kenmore as well and I love. Heck my kids can even get there own Popsicles when we are outside. (Yes - I know that sounds weird, my freezer is in my garage).

The brand that I have the best luck with is Kenmore. Kenmore has lasted me for about 4-5 years.

JMO, but I had a chest freezer...you gotta haul everything out to get something on the bottom. Pain in the a$$ !. Do yourself a favor and buy an upright. Frostless too.

I agree..Kenmore. My parents have one that is 45 years old. It works beautifully. It is huge, looks great and runs beautifully. They generally replace appliances every 5 years or so, but the old dinasour it just too good to throw away.

Kenmore is good for all appliances, as is GE, also Fridgidaire isnt bad, i know they are a bit cheaper so they may not be as good of quality. Honestly, I'd go with GE if it were me, or anything else with a good warranty i guess
