She has expressed considerable interest in me.We flirt and I have given small gifts that she accepted. Even after knowing full well my intentions,she has continued to converse with me.I am in a bad marriage and I don't care about the adultery thing. (being honest). I have given my e mail to which she hasn't responded in three weeks. Am I deluding myself?

I doubt you are deluding yourself. But, if you continually have your marriage to fall back on, she's leaving herself in the breeze by dumping this guy for you. She's kept herself single for a reason. She'll make a commitment when the time is right. The time, with you, is not right, if you're already IN a commitment.
Get single. Maybe you'll have a better chance. Now, I'm a guy, roughly your age, or probably a bit older, and I don't date ANYONE that's married. Ever. Bad marriage or not, it doesn't matter. If you're REALLY looking to make another commitment, you need to GET OFF THE REBOUND, AND TAKE A CHANCE!!! Nobody's gonna become the same thing as your wife, without the issues... You've got to figure it out that people are people, and things don't happen just because you DREAM it that way. Starting a new relationship, with a new person, means you're starting from scratch.
As for the age difference, I, personally, don't care. She's old enough. That's all that matters. By definition, he's NOT a pedophile by dating a 25 year-old.

First off even if you're in a bad marriage it's still a marriage. If I found out my husband was being flirtatious, let alone anything else, with another woman it would break my heart. She might have found flirting with you intriging but when it finally hit her that you were probably serious she freaked. Also she might just being doing what she's doing simply because she can and has no real feelings for you. If she was interested in a serious relationship with you she'd let you know. It sounds like she doesn't have any problems expressing what she feels. I wouldn't get to caught up in it because it could very well end up making your situation worse. Have you thought about doing couples counseling with your wife?

Man, this is only going to lead to problems. The last thing you need to be with is someone young enough to be your daughter. I am not condemning you for having feelings for her, as it has happened to me also (I am a 49 year old single dad). I found that women that age aren't on the same page as me as far as life's journey is concerned, and in your case it sounds like a physical thing, and you should get out of your "bad marriage" before you even consider being with someone else. And if you don't care about the "adultery thing", you should. Sorry man, but I call them like I see them. Turn away and fix your problems at home first.

Even though you do not care. You are still MARRIED.
At least split up from your wife. Or go on hiatus. Then do what you what. Age is nothing but a number (unless you live in america...and well she has to be over 18....16 in two states.)
you obvioulsy are very interested in her....and from what you say...she is interested in you. GO HAVE FUN...once you separate from you wife.

It is fine with me...
I am 25 and have dated many married guys who were older than 48. I almost exclusivly date older guys.
Some small minded people will have a problem with it - but thankfully you aren't dating them.
