Hello,Dear I will give you the exact answer.Yes, you can lose some weight by drinking water,eating salads,but first that's the least good diet,second after losing the weight you 'll return what you've lost soon and it's very unhealthy. If you follow strictly the regime I will give you,you will lose at least 10lbs. for at about a week or so..First mirraculous solution,drink 30 min.before meals a cup od hot to lukewarm water(that is the secret of celebriities like Madonna,ect.),it'll burn fats.Eat for one week onlt mean(chicken,fish etc.),soya cheese,eggs and all the vegetables you want without potatoes(cabbage,lettuce,tomatoes,cucumbers etc).Skip the sweet,it is allowed maximum 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls of honey daily.Buy good green tea and drink at least 2 cups every day. As to the sport,mirraccles are achieved by simple regular WALKING(5 to 6 kilometres) per day..Best of luck!!

Water is great for you, but those salads had better have some protein in them or you will become malnourished. You might lose weight, but you will lose muscle mass which weighs more than fat and is needed in sports. Ice burg lettuce has no nutritional value except for fiber. Since you will be running so much in basketball, why don't you run over the summer while eating sensible, varied meals. A half hour run three times a week and sit ups with some other exercises mixed in (on the other days) so you don't get bored should do the trick. Personally, I dislike running, but when I was, the weight just kept falling off. Have fun and good luck!

Salads are fine , stick with dark green lettuce tho, so you don't get weak. Water is always best for you and exercise is good too. Sounds like you'll do fine. You may want to try to not eat heavy in the PM, takes longer to burn off just sitting in your belly. (less active in PM) GOOD LUCK.

If you want to be able to do of what you want in your statement then you will have to healthy and not just salads and water.
In order to be better at all of the things that you have said then you will need to practice doing those things it will not just happen.
You will burn off any extra fat when you run and do other exercises.

Running is the best way to lose the weight, along with drinking lots of water.
The situps will add muscle to your mid section, it won't remove any fat that may be there.

just doing sit ups wont help you must do some cardio training to get your fitness and endurance up. Start running about half an hour a day

My best weight loss came from walking up hill (one mile) everyday and drinking lots and lots of water. I guess depending on your body the results are fast.

Add some cardio exercises to burn calories..start jogging to gain stamina. Eat healthy food because you're working out --- skip the sodas, cookies, ice cream etc.
