Why do i keep continue setting myself up with this man. Am I that stupid or is it that i like the abuse?

six years with this man, its emotional abuse, so much rage and hateful action and behavior, by me.

You stay in the relationship because it's comfortable. There are no surprises. It sounds like you need to get out there on your own. If you keep going back to this guy you've stopped knowing how to function on your own and that's something you really need to get back. Go talk to a counselor they'll be able to better assist your prob.
