I am a person who rarely gets headaches, but I find that drinking water helps on the occasion. Although, I don't like the way it makes me feel at the time of the headache; the after effects of drinking water are a positive.

BUT it really depends on the severity of your headaches, and if they are the symptom of some other more severe disease/disorder. Have you been experiencing any changes in your personality? How are your sleep patterns; do you get 8-10 hrs. of sleep per day?

You can always try to get your doc to let you see a neurologists, get a CT scan, a CAT scan, or an MRI.

I hope this helps you...

Are you drinking enough water?

Your Brain

Your brain is about 90% water. Although the brain is only 1/50th of the body weight. It uses 1/20th of the blood supply. Water is an important key to concentration. When your body is well hydrated, you will notice an increase clarity in thinking. With less water the level of energy generation in the brain is decreased. Depression, headaches, memory loss and chronic fatigue syndrome are frequent symtoms of dehydration.

For your severe headache, press the tips of your thumbs for 5 minutes each and also sneeze by inserting toothpick in your nostrils for mucus deposits to flow. After the mucus is removed from the head, you will find peace. Please do it till you really get relief from your uncontrollable headache. Stop eating ice cream and cold drinks. Inhale steam twice a day. Cut down on sugar. If suffering from cough and cold, treat the disorder. Best of health.

Stand up, put your hands together (interlock fingers) behind your back, and bend over, pulling your arms behind your head as far as you can and hold for at least a few moments. I don't know why or how this works, but I was taught it during our yoga classes once, and it really works for me. It provides temporary but fast relief when I need it. Let me know if it works for you.
I also use Excedrin when I feel a migraine coming on, and sometimes its enough to stop it in its tracks. If you get one anyways, I like to use a prescription from my doctor called Maxolt. Imitrex nasal is good too especially if you are nauseated, they you do not have to swallow any pills.
Good luck!

Yes. Go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. The effect on the self-healing power of your body is simply amazing - experienced it myself. :-)

Just - the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. It's worth travelling far.

Do you have allergies? Take some Advil and some drink some Coke. Caffeine does help.
