ADD SOME STREMERS OR SOMTHING OF THE LIKE ON TOP OF YOU A/C THE MOVEMENT WILL DRISTRACT THE BIRDS FROM EVEN LANDING ON IT.

Tape some shiny stuff like tinsel from the Xmas tree to the a/c. that is what the wine growers do to keep starlings out of the wine grapes. Or put a lizard or owl on the a/c. Put something on it take it off and change it. They won't like the unsoundness's of it all. change it everyday for a while.

Buy a fake snake and put it on your AC. Birds do not like them.

Place a fine wire net around your AC so that they can't get in and your AC will work like it normally does. I am sure you can buy that at a home depot or Lowes

Put a physical barrier up or place something that moves on the AC (streamers, balloons) to scare them.

put a fake snake up there and thy should stop but make sure that it is big enough for them to see and make sure that is looks kinda of real.
