Send your kids to them and get involved. Provide support to the teachers--volunteer if you can, donate supplies if you can. Fight for the rights of all the kids, not only your own. Raise holy hell politically and in the media if there is serious incompetence in the administration--spread the word if a school or teacher is doing a great job. Don't kibbitz from the sidelines--participate.

Get rid of all the rubbish in canteens and start serving healthy food

Ban all vending machines that are filled with rubbish

Teach kids how to manage their money at an early age (saving, the risk of credit, etc)

Concentrate more on world history and geography - it's a disgrace how little of the world kids know these days

Bring back the importance of good English, punctuation, grammar and syntax

Abolish religious education - that is something individual and should be chosen by the student and studied in their own time if they so desire

Teach general manners and etiquette - the world would be a much nicer place

Be a lot less tolerant with bullying

I think that's all for now.......

Put a stop to bullying and better quality food and more age appropriate portions. One hot dog and a orange, and a bag of baked chips will not fuel a 12 year old.
