Do crickets bight? I think that I was barbed by the hind legs, but my BF says that they bight.?

i know they have jaggers on their legs but i never had 1 to bite me and i handled a lot of them

It's bite; and no, they don't. They don't have the jaws, more properly termed 'mandibles', to bite.
