Well, thanks to all the people who understood the joke and appreciated it. There are so many clever answers (along with the usual snot-nosed, cry-baby responses from people who were born without any common sense of reasoning) that I simply can't choose, so I'm leaving it to a vote.

Close the cage door. She might roll around making alot of noise outside for a while when she realizes she can't get back in. Don't let her back in - even if she scratches at the door. She'll find another owner I'm sure.
