You are funny!!!
Judas was the closest to Jesus because Betrayal is only true between intimate friends. Destiny has betrayed Judas. His role was so vital in the process of making Jesus the savior. If not of Judas, Jesus will not be proclaimed as he is now. Judas could not be lured with 30 pieces of silver. He comes from a very rich family.

NO Judas betrayed Jesus to get MONEY!!!
Matthew 26:
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus
14Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. 16From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.
