Dominion: 2 : supreme authority : SOVEREIGNTY
Stewardship: 1 : the office, duties, and obligations of a steward
2 : the conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially : the careful and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care
Dominion means that we have the authority or capability to to what we wish with the Earth.
Stewardship means that we have the responsibility to take good care of it.
They are not the same thing.

I know what you're getting at, but no it doesn't. Look around the world and you can see that dominion over the natural world has not equated to stewardship like it should, and so we will pay the price for our actions soon enough. You will see.

Yes and no.
Having the ability to control the natural world (dominion) means that we should manage it wisely and gently (stewardship) as we are responsible for it.
However, having stewardship does not mean that we are the sole owners of the natural world (dominion). We must share it with other biological creatures that call the natural world their home.

I would say that they are not equal. But I would say that the privilege of dominion caries with it the duty of stewardship.
