You want to try to go a little bit darker then your skin tone. This way you have a defined line of wear your forehead ends but its subtle. If you go lighter it will make your forehead look even longer. Also try parting your hair on the side and bring the bangs a little over your forehead. Make sure they are still longer enough to tuck behind your ear because this will draw the attention down away from you forehead and to your eyes! Go with brown it looks more natural and reds tend to fade to a not so nice orange.

I have a high forhead and I dont think color makes a difference. My hair has been blonde light brown red, auburn and almost black. I think with short hair. I have had curly and straight though my hair is naturally straight. Right now Its long and straight with bangs but I have done it many ways and have had it in various lengths over the years. I loved my hair curly but but it wont stay that way after about 3 perms. blowing out your curls a bit and using using a side sweep on the bangs. Not a comb over like guys do. but let a few bangs fall naturally down your forehead with a side part does wonders with any length hair. Its the side part that helps take the focus off the middle top of your forhead. I have never been able to wear my hair parted down the middle. I wish I could. you dont want to saw your hair down the middle when you have a high forhead. Perhaps try softening your curls a bit or even try straightening them and see how it looks. Softer is better. The shape of your face may play a part as well. experiment. I bet you will find that any change will make you feel better. I doubt if its your forhead. I think when people feel self concious they send out signals in their body language that they are not approachable. learn to love yourself the way you are and try to conciously send out " I like myself and you will too" vibes there is nothing more attractive than a self confident person no matter what their flaws. we all have them. some are to fat. some are to thin. too tall. to short. we all have something that someone else might not like. so what. some just work very hard at being frumpy because they dont want the attention. and some may dress like paris hilton and look like her and still seem unapproachable to men. I think we are our own worst enemies. Do what color you like best on you. I personally like deep mahogany redish browns on me with my fair skin tone. I think the color makes my skin shine and glow. but thats just me. But try more to just love whatever you do and if you see someone smile at you from across the room. dont panic and turn away. just smile back. be approachable.

Girl *HUGS* You don't need hair color to make a guy talk to you and if you do he ain't worth talking to. Enough parent talk-if you are serious about changing your hair color-see a stylist. I can't see you so I honestly don't know what would look best. Maybe it's not your hair color as much as your hair style. Talk to a pro and tell her that you hate your "high forehead" and you were toying with the idea of getting color. See what she says and look at some swatches of hair and go from there. I recommend maybe going in for a cut or trim and talk about color, but go home and think about it and book a seperate appt. This way you'll find out what the stylist really thinks and not what she thinks you want so that she can make a sale. GOOD LUCK!

As a perfessinal hair dresser since 12 years of age...i kno what im talkin bout...so if u want your forehead to not get as much attention u want ta get a hair color that matches almost exactly wit your skin tone...if u get a darker or lighter color its gonn bring more attention to your forehead...i have blonde highlight in tha front n red in tha back n i get alot of attention because of this...my skin is medium brown so its really noticable...believe me...it will work

You should pick a color that's flattering for you. I suggest seeing a professional for color. Doing it yourself may seem to be easy and cost-effective but color correction at a salon is complicated and expensive. And a professional will most likely pick out the most flattering shade for your skin tone. If you insist on doing it yourself stick within three shades of your natural color (it's easiest and more likely to look good).
I'm not sure that a hair color will minimize your forehead but a change may give you a little self confidence boost. And self confidence is key to attracting worthwhile men.

i dont know that a color will help too much. i would think something that doesn't contrast your skin tone a lot would be best - poss the sunset brown. you may want to consider a different hair style that will hide the height of forehead if you feel it is so noticable.

Oh, God, no. Red hair is not attractive to guys. You need to grow your hair longer - guys like long hair. And get bangs cut in to cover your high forehead. As for color, you should leave it as it's natural color. This will work best for your skin tone, eyebrow, and lash color etc. If you must dye it though, aim for one tone lighter than your natural hair colour. Best of luck!

You better choose the sunset brown. But be sure to add more water to your hair color so as to create a lighter color on your hair tips. I hope you know what I mean :)

if you are looking for a light tint- get a nuetral henna packet and use a little. It will give your hair a light red cast to try out. its healthy for you also and will help with any scalp problems you may have. If you like the color but want it brighter, just use more henna and leave it on longer! good luck and dont worry about boys. They will discover you soon enough- discover yourself first.

it's not so much as color that you need to consider. your cut is going to be what helps with your forehead. but usually, darker colors will bring out imperfections in face shape or skin problems so i would go with a lighter brown but definitely two-toned with subtle highlights
