I just made more cheese balls. They don't smell funny this time but they are burnt. I'm about ready to throw in another batch right now...what can I use on them to stop burning?

lol...I REALLY want to answer the question I thought you were asking...you know about dicing jalapinos then taking a piss. The answer to this much more dramatic dillema is (I'm not kidding here) to put your wee wee into a tub of sour cream. It cools and sooths, and I speak from experience.

Maybe your oven is hotter than the thermostat states. Try turning down the temperature and keep an eye on them..

Try some lighter fluid then light a match and start a forest fire.... If that doesn't cure the smell I don't know what would.

Put a little butter, margarine, or water in the bottom of your pan. Cover with foil, if baking.

You could use oil or butter, that's fine. But since it's cheese I'd use butter.

lol - I've heard of covering them with foil for the beginning of the cook time and then uncover for the last few - I've never tried it though - good luck.
