It is a mystery to me how somebody can hate Jesus, and it is funny to hear that from people who do not even believe Him. I am so thankful for the sacrificial gift of eternal life, and as I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I also want to live for Him here. I try to give Him my best, talk to Him and ask for His wisdom. He is still answering prayers! He still moves tohe stones, and I hope He is able to move that stone of your heart what is hindering your relationship wiht God. I want to talk to Him now, so He does not have to ask from me in heaven "Dear daughter, why did not talk to me like this when you were there on earth?. I try to keep my connection open all the time with Him. He found me. He took my broken peaces, and made me new. He is in the life changing business. I thought I was fine without Him, but I did not know how the life is when you have Jesus in your heart...and now I know, and that is the best place for roken peaces...on the Maker's hands...Jesus loves you all!

Somebody here just said that she/he hates me...outch...I rather be hated by the world than the Maker of the World...I will not be shaken. I put an armor of God around me, I am not afraid of those people who will harm my feelings, life, thoughts, body etc. because life here is just a temporary assingnment...I want to follow Jesus, and join Him in eternal life. As we have many choices here, there are only two choices what comes to eternity...hell or heaven...Hardly a hard choice. Jesus loves you all!

i really dont know how a person can hate some one how gives them life a person who gave his life so that we can live . i'm with you on that one

People can hate Jesus because the Devil has gotten to them. I could never in my life hate him because that is like saying I hate myself and I love myself far to much but I love Jesus( the Trinity) even more and that is a lot of love. And for you up there^ Jesus is not a fictional character or else you would not be alive today!

I don't think that people actually hate Jesus*. However, they may not BELIEVE in Him (which is way different from hating Him), and the truth is that many of His followers have been anything from obnoxious to downright murderous in His name.
IOW, most people who are hostile to the Message don't hate HIM, but they basically hate...well, to be honest, YOU, and people like you, who are always "pushing" Jesus on them, out of your sincere belief that proselytizing is your Christian Duty.
*One very small, and very rare, exception: There are a few, cult-ish, extremist Orthodox Jews who actually hate Jesus-the-man. I happened to know one of them, many, many years ago.

Do you know why the Jewish leaders of His day hated him? His very existence threatened their livelyhood, power, etc. If He was who He said He was- Jehovah (and yes, He DID call Himself Jehovah, repeatedly), then they should have abdicated their authority to Him... immediately. They were greedy, selfish human beings... like many people today.
Another reason some may hate Him- they blame Him for bad things that happen to them. Given His omnipotence, I can understand this as well.

IMO, people don't necessarily hate Jesus--they hate many of the people who profess to follow Him. And as much as I hate to say it, I can't blame them.. Don't get me wrong, I am a practicing Christian (3 services a week plus visitation), I just know from experience.

The bible was written by humans and therefore is fictional and can be presented in the eyes of the author. noone really knows if jesus existed or not so how can some one who may not have existed save your soul.

I dont hate Jesus I hate those that profess to follow him. You shall know them by thier fruits. nobody pays attention to that bible verse. they whould rather contradict it with trust in Jesus not in man. which goes against the bible:)(well maybe theres a bible verse that contradicts that one. it whouldnt surprise me any however i take certain things to heart. Im not a big fan of the bible but some verses hit the nail on the head.)

Some families push push push their kids into a religion and eventually they want to rebel. It may not be hating Jesus, it could just be a defense mechanism for rebelling against their parents, society, norms... etc

I dont hate him... I simply dont believe in him. religion seems to me to be a folk tale people based their lives on. I also think that religious experiences are very similar to the episode of south park where all the guys claim that they have gotten their periods. just like spiritual encounters, they were doing it to fit in and it was actually impossible.

how can you love or hate someone you never knew!? You know, he teaches great morals, but I'm not gonna take a 2,000 year old book and a money-hungry priest's word for it.
