OK first off I am not Christian. Secondly do not preach to me just answer the question. I do not believe that the voice of any diety can be heard or even be survived due to its power. So was it Metatron? If you don't know who he is, in the Kabalah he is the one just below god he is the voice of god. What do you think? By the way if you preach no chance of 10 points. In the words of Sgt. Friday of Dragnet "just the facts".

you cannot answer these questions, these questions are what keep us going.. Keeps us thinking of what comes next... man created god so we can regulate the evil in the world... And to control mass amounts of people.. I cannot see how we can be judged on what’s wrong and right... when we were taught by someone who believes in something that we might not believe in... where you grow up and what you learn in your life cannot be wrong as long as u believe in it… there are to many opinions on what is believed to be wrong and right, therefore creating tension between people... and this is how war rises... so I believe do what you think is right and follow your heart, and use your mind...

Since god isn't human, how would thee have a voice? Those that hear 'voices' in their head are actually hearing their own deep inside.

He said in the Bible, 'I am, that I am." When Moses asked what he should call him. No, I think that God is God. In the Bible we have an arch Angel, too. His name is Gabriel. He does speak for God.
