Guess you're just attracted to ugly dogs. I have rarely heard anyone call a dog ugly, so your dog must be really odd looking.

People tell me my dog is ugly all the time!! But I thought he was the cutest thing sitting in the kennel all by himself....It all depends on what you think is cute anyway--you're the one living with him...no one else. So, don't worry so much about what other people say...or come back with a really good response like "thank you, your child/shirt/face/etc is just as pretty" or something.

I've heard that people look like their dogs... I'm not sure if I look like my Ausie/Lab mix or my Ausie/??? mix.... Maybe there is a resemblance?
Another theory is that some breeds are so ugly they are cute (to some people). I think pugs are f-ugly, but I also know that there are a lot of people out there that think the breed is pretty darn cute. And a good thing they exist, because without those people, the whole breed would disappear!

By God a dog is never ugly or cute. Dogs can and needs to be loved a lot irrespective of how either dog or owner looks. Dont you see how your dog will always follow you whereever you go, wait for you at the door wagging its tail till it falls and jumping all over you when you are home and just always faithful to you - whether you leave him/her locked up all day, forget to feed or spank him/her. A dog is the best friend a human can ever have and it dosent matter what breed it is.
I had street dogs in my home. I just brought them home when they were puppies because they were so loveable. Not everybody likes the idea but I have never once regretted. If you ask my in-laws one of them could be the ugliest dog on earth- stark black and orange eyes. He is bholuka and to me he is the cutest dog on earth. He too needs to be loved , likes to lie near me on the floor while we watch television loved chewing on my favourite sandals while he was a pup and loves eating soup .

Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. No matter if your dog is "ugly" or "cute" in the opinion of others, it is your opinion that really matters.
She is cute to you because you love her and she loves you. You have seen her when she is sleepy and when she is happy, when she is being affectionate and when she is being protective. She is YOUR dog.
If other people think that she is ugly, then they don't have to hold her and love on her and pet her. Those others are not her owner. You are. And you are the only one that matters to her, anyway.

Because she never cares how you look. How bad your breath is. If you step on her when she gets under your feet she wont yell at you. She all ways has a smile and is happy to see you no matter what. She never rejects you. She is your loyal friend. That is what makes her cute, her personalty. Try a pet groomer. Maybe they can help you groom her so she looks cute to others.

Because no dog is ugly. They give you great companionship and company, they are loyal and fun, accept you for who you are, and what they look like doesn't matter at all.
