Do they make it under a different name? (it was a finishing rinse/creme rinse) Used after a shampoo or a perm to Ph balance the hair.

I used pHinal phase in the 70's and my hair was not permed, or bleached, or colored and it was the best finishing rinse I've ever had! My hair was so smooth and shiny and below my waist that I suspect it was restoring its moisture. FANTASTIC stuff and I haven't found anything even close since then.

Unfortunately, they don't make REDKEN® pHinal pHase anymore, they offered a substitute they called Extreme Conditioning Rinse but it was nothing like pHinal pHase.

They have a product called pHix pHase pH 3.5 which is sprayed-on after a Redken SHOTS Treatment.

For those who don't know: REDKEN® pHinal pHase was a LOW pH (3.5) super-lightweight conditioning rinse that reversed the softening / swelling effect caused by alkaline services. (Color, Perms, Relaxers, Bleaches) It caused the hair to contract back to its original state firming the hair, adding body and closing the cuticle sealing in Color, Proteins and Moisture while eliminating alkaline residues, it also contained CPP® Redken's patented cationic protein polypeptides to add additional body and strength.

Your best bet would be to go to a salon that carries Redkin products and ask. It sounds like what you want is just a deep conditioning mask for processed hair.
