Very simple. Being a Christian is one of the toughest things starting out, than most people will ever encounter.
It's not a matter of ..taking a pill and going home". It is a lifelong commitment to God. You made a contract with God to LIVE a certain lifestyle. This is not a quick claim deed, and it's over.
Most people will just deny Him because why? It's too easy, to say it's fake. They will NOT change there ways, they won't change they're lifestyle.
It is too simple to be a atheist. That is a lazy man's way out of anything.
It is must easier to preach 10 sermons......than is too live just ONE.
There is no right or wrong. It's a matter of choice. You become a winner ot looser.
By your own heart, you can be a looser and still be right.
By your heart, you can be a looser to someone else and be a winner.
It's all choice. You accept Christ. or. You deny Christ.
Have a great week.

Because some of us just don't believe in the presence of an all-powerful God. Where are the evidence of such an existence? Like all concepts, God is story made up by humans. but if people choose to believe in the love of God, and it makes them feel better, fine with me, as long as they tolerate other peoples views.

Why should I believe your version of the story and not that of others? Why is it so hard for you to accept that maybe you're wrong and I'm right? Why is it so hard for some people to accept the fact that we are all allowed to have our own opinions? There is no proof of this "all-powerfull God" so there is no reason to believe in it. If this god was real and so powerful, then we would not be able to doubt it's existence, would we?

Or conversely, why such an "easy" pill to swallow about an all powerful god?

It is not a pill to swallow. The way you phrase your question suggests that you are trying to start an argument. It does not sound like you are truly interested in discussing different views with others, it sounds like you are looking for someone to preach to. By the way, I am a Christian, so I don't want you assuming that only non-christians find your question (or at least your phrasing) irritating. If you are really interested in broadening your religious horizons, ask a specific question and ask it respectfully.

Love is a hard pill to swallow in itself.
Ever love someone? It's crazy.
Then, when finding that God loves you way more than you could ever love someone or someone could ever love you. Well, that's just plain wild!
Then there are others who hate themselves so much, that they don't remember love, and the concept is way too overwhelming for them.
God loves you...so powerful... if you actually give it some thought

Because it is all invisible and unlike the pill that you reference in an analogous way, many are incapable of not being psyched by their own thinking.... such as yourself

Deep down, we experience the incontrovertible fact that tells us we are rather not on top of issues. So we do issues consciously and subconsciously to create convenience and secure practices zones for ourselves. Then while those zones are threatened by ability of substitute, we get a fact slap and comprehend that existence is often forward, consistently changing, and not something is secure and specific. while we come out of our hypnotic sleep states and awaken to fact, it makes us traumatic and uncertain. The uncertainty has been there all alongside, yet we conceal from it. that's why residing by ability of religion is the important.

Oh, I don't know, what about all the people that God let die on 9/11? What about the people who died or lost their homes in the God-created hurricane Katrina? What about the giant tsunami that killed 300,000 people worldwide - didn't God create that too? Why should we feel "loved" by an "all-powerful God" who also visits destruction and death on us humans?
