I have a hard time dating could it be because of that?

Most men don't like smart,successful or independent girls, I can tell you that for sure. But it depends on the personality of the guys you try to go out with. If you're a girl, you should be able to sense what they want, even from slight conversations. If not, you're in trouble.

I love a woman who can take control of her life and work with me to maintain a strong relationship - this doesn't mean arguing all the time but just moving forward. I don't like to be dominated but then a woman should have her independence and ability to decide what she wants whilst working with her partner!!

Some men feel threatened by successful, strong, independent women - others feel that it makes them useless to the woman. Then there are those who are willing to live off a woman's income.

There is no kind of universal liking in any aspect of life. People potray different opinions on different issues and perhaps the guy you are trying to date like successful, strong and independent women.But who on earth says that you aren't having those qualities? Just remember that EACH WOMAN ON EARTH IS UNIQUE IN HER OWN WAY , BUT NO TWO ARE SIMILAR.And about the dating problem.My honest suggestion to you is to wait for your Mr.Right , who respects you for what you are. Just have faith in yourself and ALL THE BEST!!!

SOME MEN ARE AFRAID OF INDEPENDENT WOMEN BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THIS WOMAN WILL NOT BE DEPENDENT ON THEM FOR ANYTHING SO THEY FEEL THAT THEY WILL NOT HAVE ANY POWER OVER HER SO THEY JUST AVOID DATING SOMEONE WHO HAS THEIR PRIORITIES IN ORDER AND LOOK FOR A WOMAN THAT THEY CAN CONTROL AND WHO WILL BE TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON THEM FOR EVERYTHING. BUT THERE ARE SOME MEN WHO WANT A INDEPENDENT AND SELF SUFFICIENT WOMAN SO JUST KEEP LOOKING BECAUSE MR. RIGHT IS STILL OUT THERE.

Most men are intimidated by women wo can make it on their own because of their own personal weird reasons, Not all men, but alot of them. Find someone who does'nt care and it could go smooth.

hi, i strongly feel YES, coz in today's world no men would like to have a wife who sits at home and nag with his mother and other family members, working outside gives a women exposure and the family members of the family also respects her as she is earning her own living hood.

I wouldn't care one way or another but I would expect her to have her priorities straight and fufill her motherly duties whereas I would fufill my fatherly duties(as soon as children were born.) and not ignore the children because of work.
