she is getting her bed comfy, my mom's dog did the same thing, nothing to worry about, kinda like how some people fluff their pillow before laying down, she is just getting comfy before bed

When my big dogs go outside, they will scratch a rut in the ground before they lay down. When they lay down they place their rib cage in the rut for comfort.
I also have a smaller dog. She likes to "build a nest" to lay down in. She will go in a circle and push her blanket around until she has a little indentation in the middle, with the blanket piled up around it. She won't lay down until she has accomplished this.
I would imagine that your dog is trying for one of these two goals. You didn't say how big the dog is. I would hope (for your sake) that she isn't very big, if she is in your bed. So, maybe she is building a "dog nest".
Or, it could be just habit. :)

Yes :)
in the wild, a dog would make a "nest" before sleeping, by tramping down the grass and leaves to make a comfy sort-of hole.
your doggie is nesting.
it's more common, i find, in female dogs, although males do it too.
it's instinctual i guess.
i'm so glad you have a dog that gets to sleep with you. that makes you both lucky. your dog, being a pack animal, will be happiest when she can sleep with you as part of "the pack."
and sleeping with a dog is great fun, don't you think?

shes probably just trying to get it comfy before she lays down. Dogs have different querks just like humans. My dog insists on burying his treats inside my pillow cases then digs at the outside of the pillow trying to get them back out.. and burrows under the pillows to sleep. Its actually quite cute once you get over the pillows always having treats in them and dogs under them...
