Do you beleive there is a heaven..and if so why?

just curious..i just wanna know wht people think out there with heaven and hell and stuff..

Yes, I do because the Bible says there is and I believe the Bible. Our life down here determines what crowns we will receive up there. Everything you do down here in this life reflects what you will earn up there. That is why good works or things you do for others matter. They are not the basis for getting TO heaven but they will determine what crowns you will get once you are IN heaven...Most people don't realize that this life is a dress rehearsal for heaven. They are really going to be disappointed that they did not tell their friends about Jesus when they knew him as their personal Saviour and did not let anyone else know. The reason that you do "good" things is out of love for Jesus, not because you are expected to. We are all sinners, Christians have just asked for forgiveness. They will continue to make mistakes but the key is to ask for forgiveness whenever you realize you have done something wrong so you do not break that relationship you have with the Lord.

I believe in heaven, because it gives me something to look forward to.

Most religions I have found, kind of leave you in the dirt if you mess up along the way, or make it really hard to get back on the ride.

At least with heaven, I constantly have a chance to redeem myself, and take away the bad things I've done.

With heaven, I can see the light at the end of the path. Heaven gives me something to think about, and something to work for. I think it's what everyone needs, something to work for, if not, then what is the point of life.

There's 3 heavens.

First Heaven = This is also called the firmament or expanse of heaven. It is the heaven where the birds fly and where the clouds give rain. (Gen.1:26; 2:20; 8:2 & 1Kings 18:45)

Second Heaven = This refers to outerspace where the sun, moon and stars can be found. (Gen.22:17 & Exodus 32:13 & Joshua 10:13)

Third Heaven = The Apostle Paul tells us that the heaven of God's abode is the "third heaven." In the Old Testament this is often designated by the phrase "the heaven of heavens." (Joshua 2:11 & Psalms 11:4 & 2Corinthians 12:2 equated with v.4 = paradise)

THERE ARE TWO KINGDOMS: ONE ON EARTH AND THE OTHER ONE COMING DOWN FROM HEAVEN.

The 1st Kingdom of Heaven =

The Bible describes three hells.

SHEOL OR HADES, THE FIRST HELL
The first term in Greek and Hebrew means the grave. It's the grave where the dead await the resurrection.
GENESIS 37:35---I SHALL GO DOWN INTO THE GRAVE.
PROVERBS 15:11--HELL & DESTRUCTION ARE BEFORE THE LORD.
ECCLES.9:10---NO WORK...OR KNOWLEDGE...IN THE GRAVE,

GEHENNA, THE SECOND HELL
The second term in New Testament means the place of fiery destruction of the wicked.

MATT.10:28--TO DESTROY BOTH BODY AND SOUL IN HELL

TARTAROO, THE THIRD HELL
This third term is only used once and refers to the place of restraint where the demon spirits were placed following the rebellion against God.

I know that there is a heaven. When I met Jesus in 1973 He took all my sins away. I knew that I knew that I knew that He was real. He is such an awesome God and Jesus said that He would go prepare a place for us... Mansions is how the bible puts it...
The bible and its predictions are becoming more and more evident as each year goes by..... IT is becoming clear how true it is and how true God's word is..... In Revelation it describes a heaven where there is no more tears, no more pain and I can't wait to someday be there..........

Yes.There are 14 heavens and 7 hells.
The higher up you go in heavens from 1 to 14,the longevity,
strength,powers,happiness and peace keep on increasing;
the desires for food,sensual enjoyment and height of the body
keep on decreasing.
From 1st to 7th hell,the miseries,pain and torture,longevity,
sufferings etc, keep on increasing.
You must study Jain Philosophy and Geography.
You should also learn spiritualism,projection,meditation etc.

Yes, without a doubt! 1st of all How could such a beautiful world come from and explosion of dust particles? 2nd If we evolved from apes then why do apes still exist? shouldn't they be extinct? Sometimes it's hard for people to accept things they can't see, but Do you believe in the wind? Sure everybody does, you can't see it but you sure can feel it. God is the same way, if you'll let Him he'll touch your heart and soul and you will feel his presence. I believe! Not sure what it be like. From what I read in the Bible, it may be here on a New Earth. May be somewhere else. But, I believe it is true. My choice and decision and not try to push what I believe, it just my answer. Some not want to believe this and that their choice and decision.
