Best answer I've ever gotten was, "Do you taste like your mom?" ROFL All joking aside it's a logical question right? Although an egg is technically the embryo (white part develops into the chicken and the yolk is its food, most people don't know that so I figured I would add that side note) and the chicken has went through development; I still think there should be some type of corresponding flavor. Anyone agree or will I get the.... "You have too much time on your hands" reply ?!? lol

Actually the white parts develops into the chicken and the yellow yolk is it's nutrients while its undergoing development. And yes, a chicken is a chicken before it hatches. A baby is still a baby before it's born right?!? Like I said, odd question! Considering though I still think there should be some type of similar or corresponding taste between the two.

Wow...that is an interesting question. This may not be the type of answer that you were seeking, but I will share my thoughts anyway. I don't reallyy think that chicken has much of a taste. When you ate chicken, I think what you actually taste is what is used to prepare the dish (such as a marinade or breading) or the sauce that is put on the chicken. Along the same thought, eggs alone don't have much of a taste either. Perhaps chicken and eggs really do have a similar taste.

Because the majority of what you are eating is embryonic fluid, the whites, and nutrients to feed the embryo, the yellow, that little white spot on the yolk is the future chicken so if you eat just that, who knows what it Will taste like

the yolk is food for the developing chicken so it's obviously not going to taste like chicken even if you put teriyaki on it, and the white stuff it the developing chicken so that would taste the most like chicken. YUCK!

I am allergic to chicken, but not eggs. I break out really bad at chicken. So, it must be something in the developing stages.

the egg is not a fully formed creature. Therefore no meat, veins, or a mass of other items. your asking why a slice of cheese and a 3 egg Denver omelet taste different. many more pieces parts to one
