Yes, there is no doubt in my mind. Think about history. Every nation that cursed israel was cursed thereself. Germany is a good example. They exterminated the jews. 6 million. The truth is, Germany was doomed at the begining of world war 11. Why, because God allways protects his word. If the Jews had been exterminated off the planet, Gods word could not be fulfilled. God would not allow that. When the United States Navy was at the end of World War !! it had the biggest navy that had ever sailed in the history of mankind., Over 2000 warships. Why, figure it out yourself. It was Gods providence. The Jews are Gods choosen people.Yes, they are blinded to who there saviour is, That is in prophesy. If you bother to read the Bible, you will learn why.God states, I will curse those that curse you, and bless those that bless you. You only have to look at the nations that have cursed them to see there end, and look at the nations that have blessed them to see if this is true.

You can quote the Bible all you want, but what's in there is NOT necessarily true. I believe it is written by the fallible hands of people and interpreted, almost always fallaciously, by different nationalistic tribes over the world, always in their own self-interest. I believe there is no such thing as a truly sacred text, anywhere, or from anytime in the history of mankind.
And no, I believe Israel is not to be trusted or treated as special in any way, just as no nationalistic enterprise is to be trusted. I believe Israel should never have had land handed to them which was partitioned from Palestine; that was a terribly morally wrong thing to do.
I believe that all the above things, taken together, form the root cause of most of the misery we are experiencing today.

The Israel of the Christian God today is a "Spiritual Israel" and not the Nation of Israel in the Middle East. After the nation of Israel killed Jesus he opened up Christianity to 'spiritual jews' However because of his promise to Abraham, he still takes care of Israel.

Modern Israel shares nothing at all in common with ancient Israel, except the name and general location. Other than that, it's just another modern secular republic. It also has the highest overtly atheist population of any nation on earth.

If Israel is the apple of God's eye, God is blind in one eye.
Modern day Israel has no relation whatsoever with the Old Testament or Hebrew "prophesies."

Nations receive blessing based on how they treat Israel.
"And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you." (Genesis 12)
A rundown through the history of Jews in different countries shows how this works.
